Charnell Fisher is most known for her incredible smile that lights up a room wherever she goes. Each time she is sent out on an assignment for Continuum, she is requested back by the client and family for her compassion, skill, and professionalism. This past year she traveled to California with a client to help him get settled in to his new permanent home—placing her personal life on hold for two weeks. She saved another person’s life by recognizing symptoms of a self-induced drug overdose and seeking emergency treatment. The client’s family was infinitely grateful. While these two situations alone are unique and deserving of attention, it is Charnell’s daily positive attitude and desire to help others that make her so special. She truly encompasses Continuum’s mission and is an ambassador for our services, skill, and attitude. It is with great pleasure that we recognize Charnell as our Silver Star Caregiver for 2011!
