Electronic Medication Dispenser
Approximately 30% of hospital admissions for people over the age of 65 are directly attributable to medication non-adherence. Continuum’s St. Charles home care experts offer the ideal solution to help seniors who are having trouble remembering to take medications. Our electronic medication dispensers automatically remind seniors to take medicine at pre-set times and even dispense the correct dosages, allowing for peace of mind and continued independence. Our medication dispensers can:
- Provide reminders up to six times a day
- Hold up to 60 doses of medications
- Sound an alarm when a dose is ready to be taken
- Alert our 24-hour Care Center if a dose is missed so they can call to remind the senior; if there is no answer, the Care Center will notify a family member or friend
- Keep medications secure under lock and key until time for a dose
